I'm not gonna "flame you" about re-using your original footage. I loved the original, so what's not to love about this? I'd say that your greatest contribution with this remake, hands down, was Colin's Solo. Wow, that was pure genius!

This series contains a certain aspect of psychological genius. Salad fingers, although he is a very strange creature, connects with all of us on some level. We've all been to that barren place, we all have our little quirks, and we've all had to be a little salad-finger-y at some point in our lives. This creature connects with us on a deep level in such a way that we can laugh at his eccentricity while feeling sympathy and hope for him because we know, to a certain extent, what he's like. I especially enjoy the fact that, if we look hard enough, we can start to see clues about his past, his settings, and the reasons why he has become what he is. (The Great War, his brother Kenneth, etc.) More than anything, we know that, although he is a strange, somewhat scary creature, we also know that he has a good heart and the profound ability to always see the positive and make the best of things. Because of this, a part of us looks part his stange tastes and behaviors and looks at his human side, and it is to that human side that we make a connection. Anyway, without all the weird psychiatrist jargon, I guess what I'm trying to say is, this series is really freakin' awesome! Congratulations, Mr. Dave, what an excellent job you've done with this!
